Adding a “garden office” would provide the extra room that is required for not only a gym, leisure room, practical home office, even a studio.  The bonus of this building would make an additional aesthetic build to your outside space.  Having an independent building would avoid the disruption that is normally associated with construction within the home.  This building would also avoid many of the planning restrictions too.
